Federal Poverty Levels

Those below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level will not receive the credit if they purchase from the Healthcare Marketplace and must rely on Medicaid or similar agencies to receive health insurance.

Those between the filing threshold for their status and 138% of the Federal Poverty Level will have to receive an Exemption Certificate Number from the Healthcare Marketplace if they do not have health insurance.

Those above 400% of the Federal Poverty level will be subject to the fine and not receive a credit if they purchase insurance from the Healthcare Marketplace.
